Professional networking evening

What a cracker of a night! We partnered up with JACS again to host a huge networking evening with uni students from all across Brisbane and a range of amazing professionals.
We had a panel from across the journalism and communications industries that were a wonder to listen to!
We had Alex Smith, Samantha Heathwood, Alex Dorante and Taylor Whyte sharing all their insights on working in the industry and connecting with all our members.

QUT Creative Industries Ball

We were a part of the collaborative organising committee of the QUT Creative Industries Ball 2022.
The ball was an amazing event, featuring a wide variety of creative industries clubs as well as musicians, a DJ, photo booth and red carpet.
The executive team worked incredibly hard to pull off such an amazing event that really celebrated the amazing hard work we have all put in one the past year.
It was such a sight to see so many students from different faculties come together for a night of antics!
QUTJN X JACS X UQMAS y2k Launch Party

To kick off Semester 1 2022, we partnered up UQ societies JACS and UQMAS to throw a hell of a throwback party!
We had a hoot and a half dressed up in our y2k attire at Friday's on a Sunday afternoon.
Hopefully next time we get just as wine drunk ;)
How to Get a Job in Broadcast w/ Sally Prosser

We were lucky enough to have the ever-amazing Sally Prosser host an amazing workshop for QUTJN members and JACS.
She imparted all her wisdom on the industry and skills for broadcast journalism, and we used these techniques to film green screen content for everyone's portfolios.
We also loved to see students from USQ and students from other faculties come along!
